The design of the pavilion "CORPFORM" was realised for the "Open House - Intelligent Living by
Designî at ENTRY 2006 in Essen/Germany. CORPFORM shows analogies to living organism:
Its adaptive behaviour is the main focus of the experimental object in order to show an integrative
system with adaptive building envelope and a structural system with variable chemical and physical
properties with the goal to adapt to various external changing environmental conditions, such as
light transmission, temperature or acoustic properties. Further on the pneumatic system is able
to modify the overall geometry. Textiles, foils, ceramics, glass or plastics are embedded within
the structure as cellular or multi-layer systems.
