Interdisciplinary design of three residential buildings with combined underground parking in Stuttgart. The buildings consist of an underground car park and four respectively six floors, Overall stability is provided RC staircase cores. The realisation of the advanced energy concept of the passive plus house required a close co-operation between the structural design and architectural and mechanical engineering aspects. The optimisation of the slab thickness and column gird in combination with the application of masonry and precast concrete elements leads to maximised flexibility and cost effectiveness.
